What is going on in America?
Dean Garrison – Police found 26 children, all under the age of 3, locked behind a false wall in the basement of a daycare earlier this week.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The state has suspended the license for Play Mountain Place daycare in Colorado Springs after 26 children were found behind a false wall in the owner’s basement. All of the children are under the age of three.
The owner, 58-year-old Carla Faith, is being investigated. A total of three adult workers were arrested, but those charges were cancelled pending an ongoing investigation.
On Wednesday, the department asked the Colorado Springs police to assist with a welfare check at the daycare after they received a complaint about the number of children the daycare was housing. When officers arrived, they didn’t find any children.
When they contacted the owner at her residence on the same property, she refused to cooperate. But officers could hear the children inside her home. They eventually found a false wall that led to the basement where they located the children.
The Colorado Springs Police Department has taken over the criminal portion of the investigation while all licensing matters are being handled by Colorado’s Department of Human Services. The department is also investigating other licensed facilities that are owned by Faith. More…
What kind of a sick world are we living in America?
Just lock them in the basement. They don’t talk well enough to tell their parents what’s going on. We can’t take care of them all but we need the revenue.
That is not a quote, of course, but it seems to be the logic that these Daycare owners and staff must have been following.
I have a 2 1/2 year old at home and honestly, today is the first time we have ever let him out of our site, other than the hospital (he has major health issues, but he’s tough).
He went to a Church that has a special function once a year to give parents a break.
They bought us all dinner and watched our kids.
It was nice, but now I’m home and…
After reading this story I may have second thoughts about doing it next year AND this was the first date night my wife and I have had in 7 years.
Literally 7 years.
It’s just not worth it when things like this are going on in America.
